Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to a Russian mother and Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. Mahendru is fluent in German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru was born to an Indian father and mother of a Russian mother. The choreographed show she performed at age 11, which appeared on German TV, changed her into a Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. She graduated from high school in New York and received a Bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. Then in NYC, she was studying acting in the HB studio. Later on she moved to Groundlings School and took up various initiatives. Her family was brought up within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru, as well as a Russian-speaking mother Olga. The family moved to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she turned 13 and stars with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. TV actress best known for her role as an ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova, on FX's The Americans. Her role was a regular one in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
